Introduction to music video

In today's lesson we worked in groups and discussed the type of theme we wanted running in our music video. With May and Olivia, we came up with the idea of using an upbeat song and peppy song so that we could make a cheesy story line for.

We also decided who was going to be the main role (me) and discussed if we needed the use of other actors/performers.

In an attempt to decide which song to use, we googled 'upbeat music artists' and saw what came up. Then all three of us brain stormed non-mainstream artists and looked at the videos on youtube of which ones had low views.
These are the songs we showed an interest in:

- The Kixx: Already Gone
- Parade: Perfume
- Parade: Rollercoaster
- Cimorelli: Million Bucks
- Aly and AJ: Rush

Listening to the lyrics of these songs, we fathom that the theme is to do with love and loss, mainly, only using upbeat and bubbly music, which keeps the audience engaged and interested.
We have discussed using the theme of a cheesy and romantic couple, a summer romance maybe? We are still in a brain storming stage, and have more ideas to develop our beginning ones. We will research other peppy music videos that have a similar theme to the one we are starting to think up.
